Photography That Is All About Emotion and Love...

My specialty is capturing emotions and love in wonderful photography. That's what I love to do. I really don't look at the photographs I will be taking on your wedding day as "wedding pictures" but rather as "family photographs created on your wedding day." My studio's primary goal is to capture all the personalities, relationships and emotions of your family and friends. By doing that, your photographs mean more to you than you ever dreamed they would!

A Passion for Wedding Photography

I photograph weddings because I LOVE THEM! Most photographers don't like weddings. They photograph them only because they have to - they need the money. But if I didn't need to work another day in my life, wedding photography is what I would be doing. I love it that much.

Experience Matters

The truth is most photographers doing wedding these days have limited experience in photography, usually only a few years. I have been a fulltime professional photographer for 15 years. Not only have I done TONS of weddings big and small, outdoors and indoors, in the cold, rain and snow but I came to weddings after years of working for newspapers, wire services and magazines including freelance work for The New York Times, Chicago Tribune and People magazine.

A College Degree in Photography

I'm one of the only wedding photographers in Kansas City who has a college degree in photography. Not only do I have a college degree, I have a degree in photojournalism from the prestigious University of Missouri School of Journalism. This school is considered the best in the world for photojournalism education and training.
