The Lenexa Conference Center is a bit of a marvel and features some very nice possibilities for your Kansas City wedding. The home was originally the property of the Lackman family. They were important figures in the early economic life of Johnson County. The property is listed on the Register of Historic Kansas Places.
It was a pleasure working with Chris right from the start. We couldn’t be happier with the photos and have received so many compliments from families and friends. He captured the details that we wanted and more. We had interviewed 6 other photographers in the Kansas City area and finally selected Chris because he seemed to offer a great balance of passion, practicality, and professionalism. Chris Cummins was our photographer for our fall wedding this past November in Kansas City. Our images from the wedding and reception are stunning. Chris is an extremely skilled photographer!! While I love all our traditional wedding photos, the ones that steal the show are the candid ones when you had no idea he was sneaking around capturing memories. If you are looking for a very personable and fun photographer to work with, Chris is your man! The time and hard work he puts into capturing your special day is evident from start to finish. There are so many little touches that he does to personalize the whole experience just for you!
Chris went above and beyond in so many ways to contribute to our wedding. Due to unexpected family emergencies at the beginning of our engagement, we had to cancel on several appointments, some with very short notice. Not only was Chris courteous, he was empathetic and sensitive. When we were able to meet, he further invested by getting to know us, our goals/dreams for the day, our family dynamics, etc. He was very personable and the time spent in preparation is evident in our pictures – both due to their personalization and the level of comfort my husband and I felt. Our families have all commented on how he was present for all the important moments without being intrusive. He is an expert photo-journalist and we highly recommend him!
